Welcome to my digital garden 🪴🌲
I think if a girl wants to be a legend, she should go ahead and be one. - Calamity Jane
This is a small space where I practice learning in public. My more finished writing and projects are displayed under the writing menu. Otherwise, anything listed in the digital garden menu, is by design, still growing. I continuously, though sporadically, ‘tend’ to this digital montage of thoughts, passions, and inspiration. I was inspired to create this by many thinkers on the internet, and am largely trying to create my own thing here, but I would be wrong if I did not let you know about the gardeners that have inspired me.
This place isn’t perfect, and it never will be. It is a work in progress. I’m putting this on the internet for everyone to see so nobody will be afraid to start.
Have fun poking around my brain! I hope you feel curious and inspired, always.
A couple of clues:
Posts usually have statuses:
- 🌰 Seed - Just a seed of a thought. Maybe an idea for later, maybe not. Most pages on this site are seeds.
- 🌱 Sprout - More than a seed, something that has taken root. There might not be a goal yet, but more than just a title. I’m willing to share the sprouts and up here.
- 🌿 Sapling - a seed that has a goal. Its been watered, and I have a plan for it (see ‘goals’).
- 🌳 Tree - a sapling that has reached maturity. I may still prune and shape from time to time.
- 🍓 Fruit - a shareable plant. Perhaps an essay, or an art, or a finished coding project. Its probably been published somewhere else too.
- 🎋Vine - a list of things that will keep growing toward the light.
Not all seeds are published.
I do keep some things private, usually to protect another person, or because I just don’t feel comfortable airing it out yet. My intention is to make everything open eventually, but noodling around in privacy has it’s benefits too.
If it isn’t a 🍓 fruit, expect some strangeness
As of this writing, I don’t even have any fruits yet! But really, anything less than a tree is an un finished draft. I’m sharing them here, but they’ve still got work to do. One day, I’d like to have more fruit bearing trees than spouts, but as of this writing (9/23/26), most things are still growing and grabbing root.
